Katy is a dual qualified lawyer specialising in Criminal Defence as well as DVLA licence appeals. She completed her articles (equivalent to a UK training contract) at Legal Aid South Africa and is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa. She then went on to pass the Solicitor Qualifying Examination in England and was admitted as a solicitor of the High Courts of England and Wales. She is Police Station accredited and is currently working towards her Duty Solicitor qualification.
Katy has experience working with youths and other vulnerable clients, especially those with learning disabilities and mental health complexities. She takes a holistic approach with clients and always goes above and beyond to get the best possible outcome.

Mariam is a recent graduate who earned an LLB in Law from the University of City of London and is continuing to advance her legal education by pursuing a Master’s in Law and studying for the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) through an apprenticeship with Walker Law.
Mariam’s proficiency in drafting legal documents, managing case files, and supporting solicitors throughout the litigation process showcases her commitment to excellence and her passion for the legal field. She is also in the process of obtaining her police station accreditation and accompanies solicitors to police stations. Her hands-on approach and keen understanding of legal procedures have been instrumental in preparing for serious Crown Court cases.

Stephen Collins obtained his qualification in 1993 and since then has served clients charged with the most serious of cases throughout counties in the Thames Valley and across Wiltshire.
During his career he has dealt with every type of offence from homicides, the most serious sexual offences, complex fraud, and terrorism through to motoring offences. As the holder of firearms and shotgun certificates he is an expert in relation to all firearms related cases. He also represented hundreds of environmental protestors during the building of the Newbury bypass.
Away from work Stephen enjoys fishing, competing at a high level both in this country and overseas, shooting and walking.

Caroline Dunne qualified as a solicitor in 1992 and has extensive experience dealing with all areas of criminal law as well as road traffic law and regulatory offences. She has experience as a prosecutor for local authorities as well as conducting hearings in the Coroners’ Court. Caroline is recommended for her client care and is calm and reassuring in what can be a very stressful time. Caroline has a particular interest in representing clients with ADHD or Autism.
Caroline is an accredited duty solicitor for both the Magistrates Court and the police station.

Luis joined our team in August 2023 having re-located from Cardiff, South-Wales.
Luis trained to be a solicitor through a reputable Cardiff firm who specialise in all areas of criminal defence. He qualified as a solicitor in 2018 and quickly completed his duty solicitor accreditation thereafter.
Before earning his training contract, he firstly undertook the police station qualification (APSR) and has been representing clients in the police station since 2015.
Luis has obtained his Higher Rights of Audience and regularly appears in Crown Courts all over the country. He has successfully defended clients on a wide variety of offences including serious violence, fraud, historic sexual offences and drugs conspiracies.
Luis is able to represent you in all stages of proceedings and is still regularly appearing in the police stations and magistrates’ courts of the Berkshire area. Luis is also a prison lawyer. He is able to assist those serving custodial sentences with adjudications, re-categorisations and parole board hearings.

Jeremy is an experienced investigator, with particular expertise at looking into civil claims, regulatory misconduct, internal fraud and allegations of bribery.
Prior to his role as a solicitor, Jeremy worked for half a decade for the Official Receiver in the UK. His role entailed the rigorous examination and investigation of all kinds of complex corporate fraud, including Inland Revenue fraud, procurement fraud, VAT ‘carousel’/‘missing trader’ fraud and ‘phoenix syndrome’. As a result of this work, Jeremy developed a deep investigative expertise across a broad range of competencies, such as the analysis of company accounts, interviewing parties, and recovering business records.
In addition to his role in the UK, he has also worked as an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, the local equivalent of a barrister.
Jeremy earned a Bachelor of Social Science in psychology from the University of Cape Town and an LL.B. from Rhodes University. Jeremy is also an accredited Duty Solicitor.

Fabienne has enjoyed working in criminal defence since 2009. She is a ‘Higher Rights Advocate’ which means she can represent those whose cases are both in the Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court.

She has a breadth of experience across all areas of criminal defence, from representing those arrested at the police station, through to defending client’s accused of very serious crimes at Crown Court trial.
Fabienne particularly enjoys trials and has a high success rate of achieving ‘not guilty’ verdicts for her clients.
A further specialism of Fabienne’s is military law; having represented service personnel in the Royal Military Police Station and Courts Martial both in the UK and abroad.

Much of Tim’s work is referred through client recommendations. Rob has worked in criminal practice in the Thames Valley for over 15 years. As a Higher Court Advocate, Rob regularly has conduct of complex trials in both the Crown Court and the Magistrates’ Court. He has also successfully had Crown Court rulings overturned in the Court of Appeal, the highest Court within the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
Rob is a Criminal law specialist and his practice areas include motoring, fraud, sexual offences and offences of violence against the person. Rob regularly defends victims of modern slavery, forced criminality and human trafficking and has a wealth of experience in dealing with clients who have complex additional needs and mental health conditions. Rob also regularly assists young people and has many years of experience in the Youth Court.
